Associate Product ManagerTracking Code131-317Job DescriptionSUMMARY:Work with product managers/product brokers to develop and grow assigned product lines. Assists Product team in promoting product lines. Performs associated product marketing duties (i.e. part number data cleansing and content management). Acts as back up for product support staff.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintain upkeep of product content (Up-sell, Cross Sell, Add-on options, photos, data sheets, etc)

Interfaces with sales management, reps and marketing to promote product lines.

Coordinate with sales management to assure that product training and mind share is maintained; “markets” product lines to the internal sales force.

Assist other Product Managers with administrative product marketing duties.

Maintain a strong sales based understanding of product performance, pricing and market conditions.

Work with product managers, tech support and customers to identify products that should be added to the product offering.

Develop and maintain relationships with used equipment dealers (if applicable).

Analyze new product announcements and its relationship to product offerings.

Maximize equipment margin opportunities.

Assume additional responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business preferred.

Minimum of four years’ experience product marketing, marketing or sales.

Solid business sense combined with ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Proven ability to think on one’s feet and use knowledge to come up with creative solutions.

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, while demonstrating strong attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines is essential.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.

Extensive secondary market industry knowledge.

Proven record of achievement.

Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to the job and the company core values.

Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from Syracuse or moving to the area within 30 days

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
