Senate Operations Coordinator

This position provides technical support to the University Senate and the Office of the Registrar with dual reporting to the Manager of University Senate Affairs and the Assistant Registrar for Academic Scheduling. The Senate Operations Coordinator provides technical support to the University Senate Affairs manager and Senate Committee on Curriculum & Instruction regarding curriculum-related rules and regulations during curriculum review and processing; conducts research and provides resolutions to issues regarding curriculum, course/class scheduling, and course setup inquiries from administrators, faculty, staff, and students.Technical support to the Office of the Registrar includes the creation, updating, and review of new and revised courses in the SIS systems; program and general catalog updates in the University's online course catalog system, as well as review of the course catalog annual pdf publications. The position also provides course/class scheduling, as well as support for scheduling and grading issues and inquiries.This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200United.
