Fruit Expert ensures Edible Arrangements service standards are met and surpassed by providing customers with prompt, quality product selection, purchase, and preparation.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Develops Enthusiastically Satisfied Customers All of the Time

Welcomes and connects with every customer to provide excellent customer service.

Discover customer needs and appropriately suggests product with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals.

Assists customers in the selection and purchase of Edible Arrangements products.

Uses effective sales approaches and displays strong knowledge of product line.

Effectively converts customer inquiries into sales.

Builds long-term relationships and builds the trust and loyalty of customers.

Responds to customers needs.

Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.

Demonstrates "just say yes" behavior when taking care of customer needs.

Manages difficult customer situations in a calm and professional manner.

Maintains Quality Store Operations

As needed, prepares a variety of fruit arrangements, dipped fruit to Edible Arrangements standards.

Follows store policies and procedures for operational flow at each station.

Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the cleaning standards and works as a store team player.

Presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication by using Fruit Expert skills with all customer and co-worker interactions.

Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products.

Financial Contribution

Follows cash handling and register policies

Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines

Takes Responsibility to Learn All Aspects of the Fruit Expert Position

Learns and demonstrates creating the EA Experience.

Learns and performs duties of customer service, production and/or delivery driver as needed.

Learns and demonstrates all performance standards by completing In Store Training Experience and utilizes nXstep training on ongoing basis

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous experience working in customer service or food service establishment preferred

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to sell and up-sell products

Good math and money handling skills

Ability to lift, carry and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Positive attitude

Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

Drive and determination

Desire for personal and professional growth

Valid State Drivers License and a clean driving record

Computer skills including Microsoft software and register skills.

Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift.

Must be able to work "gift giving" holidays and weekends. Approximately 30 - 35 hours per week.
