Job description:-PART-TIME (3 days weekly, alternating Saturday Mornings)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled FNP or PA to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing preventative care, managing chronic conditions, and addressing acute concerns while working collaboratively with our physician and support staff.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and medical histories
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
Collaborate with physician, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Document all patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately
Rotating call coverage
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted in New York
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)
Maintains CME and licensing as required by New York State Department of Education.
Current BLS/CPR certification
Prior experience in primary care or family medicine preferred, but new graduates will be considered
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Medent experience helpful but will train the right candidate.
