L'Arche Syracuse, a faith-based residential community for adults with developmental disabilities, is seeking candidates for full and part time positions in one of our 4 homes. The candidate will need to be open to being a friend, planning and participating in interesting activities, providing support, personal care and working as part of a home and team. Our mission is to create home together, a safe place, where everyone's voice is important. L'Arche is committed to building mutual relationships with people with disabilities through partnering in tasks of daily living. We are funded like a group home but we strive to live like a family. Ideally, for a part time position, we are looking for someone to share time (work) Thursday evenings from 3p-11p and 2 other 8 hour shifts during the weekend-negotiated depending on the need of the home. Full time positions typically span evenings and weekends and are based on the need of the home. Live-in options may be available.
