Front office assistant to the manager at Apartment Complex needed on part time basis which may lead to full time opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Answering phones
Setting-up and providing apartment tours
Filing paperwork
Handling move-in and move-outs
Tracking Leads and providing progress reports to managers
Overseeing maintenance staff
Collecting rent in office
Notices/mail handling
Handling tenant issues as needed
Posting online ads to fill vacancies
SKILLS:
Use of basic computer skills is necessary- knowledge of Appfolio a big +
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft and Excel for basic reports
Ability to effectively communicate on the phone and in person- Spanish a big +
Team player- will be working alongside office manager as well as on your own
Must have strong organizational skills
5 yrs experience in affordable housing, social work a big +
Looking for someone with experience with affordable housing, section 8, etc who can handle working in a tougher neighborhood.
Salary is $12-15/hr commensurate with experience. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 3 days per week- no weekends.
Must have valid ID/Driver's Lic and pass criminal background check. Must have transportation to and from job location
