Job Description
Automotive Detailer / Dealership Inventory Prep
Summary: This position of for a detailing position for dealer inventory prep. Most of our inventory is lifted ¾ and 1 ton trucks. General work typically includes:
Power washing exterior and undercarriage
Thoroughly washing vehicle exterior
Tar removal
Acid clean wheels
Buff and polish exterior paint
Clean and dress undercarriage
Polish and dress wheels and tires
Extract carpets and seats
Clean and dress interior panels
Clean glass
Touch up paint
Southern Diesel has been involved in the automotive industry for 15 years in upstate NY and has spent most of those years specializing in custom diesel trucks and specialty vehicles. On general include anything from general inventory prep to building SEMA trucks. Honestly we get to do some pretty awesome stuff. In order to advance our skills, abilities and output we need Techs that have following qualities:
Proactive attitude
Strong work ethic
Drive to advance and learn
Passion for industry
Ability to effectively communicate and work with others
Knowledge of aftermarket performance
Passion for unique vehicles
Understanding and commitment to customer service / customer experience
Pride in workmanship

Position is paid Hourly Yearly figures are based on hourly wage and a general 45hr. work week. (Mon-Fri) Yearly figures can be higher based on skill, ability, and hours worked.
