Are you a carpenter working for a commercial or seasonal contractor and fed up with working long days to meet strict deadlines or dodging the weather?
Do you have 3 or more years of experience?
A Central New York remodeling firm is expanding its team and is looking for a carpenter with 3-5 years' experience. We do high end residential remodeling, primarily kitchens with our custom cabinets. This position would be full time, year round with no seasonal layoffs. 90+% of work is interior, avoid the heat, rain, cold and snow.
The ideal candidate has experience in some or all of the following areas:
Cabinet installation
Trim carpentry
Painting
Light electrical
Light plumbing
Light HVAC
Drywall installation and finishing
Framing including installation of load bearing beams
Hardwood flooring installation
Tile
Cabinet shop experience (preferred but not required)
