R.F. Peck Co., Inc., a large Upstate New York manufacturer's representative company, is seeking a technician to service equipment they sell. The individual will be responsible for performing start-up, commissioning and service repair of commercial HVAC equipment. This equipment will include variable refrigerant flow (VRF) and split systems, fans, pumps, cooling towers and variable frequency drives.
Travel is required with overnights possible. The territory includes Buffalo, Rochester & Syracuse; although you will be based out of the Syracuse office.
Candidate must possess a technical understanding of HVAC systems and controls. They must be capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues related to commercial HVAC systems using problem solving, tools and a variety of test instruments. Refrigeration, HVAC service background required. Training, competitive salary and benefits provided.
