Certified SCUBA Divers needed for another great summer on Skaneateles Lake!
Aquatic Invasives, Inc. is hiring divers to help remove invasive species of lake weed in Skaneateles Lake. This position is full time, Monday through Friday, weather permitting. We are not "fair weather" divers, but we make sure it's safe to be out there diving. Some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) and boat maintenance is required.
We love well rounded individuals who know how to use tools/have a mechanical aptitude, have emergency response certifications, boaters licenses, or adventure experience. Let us know any skills you have that may be relevant to an outdoor position! Must have own wet suit, weight belt and hoodie.
Our season starts in June, as soon as the lake is warm enough to safely dive all day, and runs through September. We are flexible with students or other seasonal workers with the end of our season.
