Red Hook Solar is seeking installers, operators, and laborers in Turin and Canastota area for projects through the end of the year.
We are seeking installers who can start immediately. This is an ideal position for a fast paced high energy person - we are seeking people who are looking for long term employment, we expect to keep busy year round in Central New York.
Reliable transportation and a phone are a must!

Starting pay is $16 / hour
Start Date: Immediately
We work Monday through Friday, with some scheduled overtime and occasional weekend work.
Basic Job Duties Include:
Build racking systems
Use proper tools (drills, torque wrenches, ratchets, screw drivers, etc.)
Install solar modules using direction from site plans
Follow directions of site Superintendent and Foremen
Site cleanup
Work safely, providing quality work, efficiently
Qualifications:
Must have reliable transportation to get to job site every day
Lift up to 50lbs, in a repetitive motion all day (10 hour days)
Walk the site all day (large tracts of land, with possible rolling terrain)
Withstand all weather conditions (sun, rain, wind, snow; 0 degrees to 100 degrees)
Job Type: Full-time
Interviewing on site daily, 8-10 am. If you come with your personal protective equipment and your ID and Social Security Card or Birth Certificate you may be able to start immediately.
Site located at 5626 W road (Highway 26), Turin, NY.
Pay: $16.00
