Staff serves developmentally disabled individuals that live with their family. Staff will assist and reinforce individuals and families in working toward improving unwanted behaviors. Staff will assist in providing suggestions for changes and apply a reward system that is agreed upon by both individual and family member(s). Staff will work with outside agencies such as schools, probation department and court systems to improve individual success. All behavior goals will be individualized. Follow up will be done based on the plan goals established. High School Diploma or equivalent with one year experience working in a related field. Must be able to work flexible hours if need arises. Must must retain reliable transportation and possess a valid NYS Drivers License. Must participate in agency training; OPWDD training a plus. Must agree to PPD testing as well as Background Check, Staff Exclusion and State Central Register.
