We need you to be the face of our campus in Camden! We’re looking to add a second bi-lingual receptionist to the team at one of our campuses in Camden, NJ. As receptionist, you are the first face that parents, students, and community members see when they walk into a building, so you’ll need to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in our main office.
A bit more about you… You’re cool under pressure. You’re fluent in both Spanish and English. You love helping people out and can juggle a lot of responsibilities at once. In short, you’re a joyful person who’s organized.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Working in-person to manage hybrid and in-person school operations
Administrative responsibilities including answering door buzzers and phone calls, directing callers to the appropriate person or school, taking messages, and relaying messages to all entities
Greetvisitors, determine their needs and provide accurate information or connect them with the appropriate stakeholder
Handlefamily concerns and questions in a prompt and appropriate manner
Act as a strong, positive day-to-day interface with the school community, representing our values, mission, and philosophy at all times
Supportschool-wide communication efforts including maintaining front office fliers and supporting preparation and distribution of school-wide communications
Maintainaccuracy of information systems including contact information, attendance, early and late pickup, bus ticket tracking, and own dismissal changes and communication of this information to stakeholders
Receivemail and deliveries and ensureitems are appropriately distributed
Supportthe operations team with school-wide projects and responsibilities
Maintaina clean, organized and well-functioning office environment
Qualifications
Must Haves
Must have a high school degree or equivalent
Must enjoy working with students and families
Must be able to read, write, and communicate with others wellin both English and Spanish
Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and oral), including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly
Previous experience in a customer service oriented role
Fluent in Spanish
Demonstrated ability to work with a team as a collaborative partner
Ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented in high-stress situations.
Commitment to do whatever it takes to ensure our teachers and students have what they need to be successful
Ability to build strong relationships with kids and their families
Ability to identify inefficiencies and generate creative solutions
