Title: Welder Fabricator
Fabrication, welding and construction of metal parts into raw light fixtures ready to be painted - reporting to work shop supervisor
Job Duties Include:
⢠Reading prints and interpreting processes
⢠Sawing, grinding, welding, bending, rolling of raw materials & parts to create artesian lighting fixtures
⢠Reporting change orders to supervisor
⢠Working in a neat efficient manner to achieve goals in a timely fashion
⢠Working closely with machine programmer to ensure priorities are met
⢠Cleaning and maintaining work space and equipment
⢠Lifting & maneuvering required
⢠Additional as assigned
Responsibilities:
⢠40 hr + work week M-F
⢠Some weekends required
⢠Probationary period to be completed
⢠Overtime as directed
Qualifications:
⢠Mig welding basic knowledge Tig welding is a plus.
⢠Able to grind and blend welds
⢠Forging experience helpful
⢠Works well with problem solving in a team envirnment
⢠Knowledge of shop equipment (brakes, rollers, saws and torches)
⢠Able to read measuring instruments (tape measure & caliper)
⢠Clean & organized
⢠Attn to detail and high level of awareness
