Mgr Research Data Collection-PS27605Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United StatesNewRequisition #: PS27605HealthCore , a health outcomes research company in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Manager, Research Data Collection to join our dynamic, rapidly growing company in our Wilmington, DE or Watertown, MA office . Founded in 1996, and now an independently-operating subsidiary of Anthem, HealthCore provides the health care system and the biopharmaceutical industry with naturalistic "real-life" analytics on the value of various interventions in diverse patient populations. HealthCore’s projects range from traditional claims-based retrospective analyses to post-approval research solutions. Our suite of services offer the ability to supplement administrative claim data with data abstracted from medical charts and data collected from physician and patient surveys, including patient reported outcomes.Responsible for conducting evidence based research by expanding data collection activities to supplement administrative claims data. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Serves as subject matter expert to both internal staff and external clients. Oversees all aspects of research data collection on survey and medical record abstraction and redaction projects. Develops standardized data collection procedures, monitors consistency of implementation and compliance to procedures. Minimizes member, client, and health plan abrasion. Develops, manages, and monitors relationships with project contacts and third party service providers. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.Requires a BA/BS in Epidemiology, Sociology, Nursing, Pharmacy or related field; 5 years clinical research experience in clinical data management, 4 years of experience in leading and managing data management projects, 3 years of experience with chart abstraction or survey research projects, 1 year of direct or indirect management experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.Prior SAS programming experience and/or supervisory experience/training preferred;KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIESGood communication, organization and writing skills, ability to coordinate and monitor the quality of research data collected; proven skills in a variety of data management software such as EDC, SAS, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
