Sign Company in Watertown NY is looking for a Production Assistant. This position is responsible for all general production of signs and graphic materials. This position will produce and accurately fulfill orders in a fast paced print shop environment. This position includes but is not limited to, digging posts for sign installation, weeding vinyl, applying vinyl, applying vinyl graphics to vehicles, substrates, and storefronts. There is a significant degree of customer interaction in this position, in which a professional demeanor and appearance are required. The goal is to efficiently produce signage solutions for our clients at the highest quality, and best service.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License
Follow instructions to accurately prepare and install signage/graphics on interior and exterior walls, surfaces and substrates, including partial vehicle installs. Utilize applicable tools for sign/vehicle installs.
Remove existing signs/graphics for install preparation.
Cut, weed, mask, and install vinyl lettering.
Maintain strong lines of communication with co-workers. Accurately relay project details to management, as well as find solutions in the field.
Adhere to industry standard safety practices. Operate all tools and equipment according to specific safety requirements.
Perform general sign production duties.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Keep shop / vehicles / customer sites clean and orderly at all times.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
