We are a busy, family-owned and operated shop in Watertown / Fort Drum area. Service Plus Automotive subscribes to many information sources including Mitchell on demand, Pro-Demand, Identifix, and IATN. We are looking for an experienced technician with a background in diagnostic repairs, trouble shooting, and a variety of mechanical repairs. You will be able to diagnose drivability, brake, CEL, ABS, SRS, TPMS, & A/C problems and must have thorough understanding of scan tool use and be able to use these tools to diagnose vehicles in a timely manner. You must be computer literate, able to use the web to efficiently access information systems, and able to perform all levels of repairs. Pleasantly communicate with Service Advisors during pre-repair road tests and the repair process is a must. Team player who will jump in where needed to keep the work flowing is what we are looking for. We will require you to participate in company paid for continuing education and acquire/maintain ASE certification. We will also pay you to go to the classes!
In addition, the ideal person should be hard-working, self-motivated, obsessed with fixing it right the first time, detail oriented and have a good attitude.
You:
Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable in-the-field auto repair experience.
Must have a valid NYS Inspectors license.
Work hard, have fun and play well in the company sandbox!
Are self-motivated and enjoy working independently, as well as a team environment.
Have a complete set of technician tools, and a GREAT attitude!
