Job Responsibilities:
Looking for a sharp multitasking Service Writer to greet customers by phone, email, and in shop in a helpful, attentive manner, listen carefully-taking notes, and scheduling vehicle repair according to the shop workload. The information transferred to the technician must have all significant details. The service writer's responsibility is to write estimates for inspections, testing, repair, and service, collect payments for work completed, maintain an orderly scheduled and operating facility. This will involve looking up parts and labor, working with vendors and outside companies as well as maintaining timely workflow turnover in shop. When testing/diag is completed by technicians, the service writer will translate to the customer in a way that the customer will understand so that the work can be sold.
Qualifications:
Must Be Comfortable with computers and various software programs, Excellent with multi-tasking, Articulate, automotive service writer experience and qualified service technician experience.
Must Have: Clean driving record and have reliable vehicle for commute (Required)
Experience:
Service Writing: 1 year (Required)
Qualified Service Technician: 4 years (Preferred)
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Full Time
