Job Title: Admin Assistant/Shipping Coordinator
Job Description:
Assist PBCO manager with daily customer service tasks, packing and shipping, photographing banjos and posing on social media, inventory management, purchasing and HR tasks Prospective employee will be sending and receiving packages daily, maintaining stock inventory, managing website inventory and sales, procuring new products, answering the phone, fielding customer service questions, and occasional assembly of items. This person will be packing and shipping custom banjos, banjo parts and accessories and will help with quality control.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized, punctual, and dependable
- Skilled in customer service
- Skilled with inventory management
- Ability to be trained in admin procedures
- Ability to read and interpret written information.
- Ability to update information and products on website
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to get along with others and to work well in a team environment.
- Ideally experienced with woo commerce or similar website store program
- Ideally skilled in Airtable
- Ideally skilled at taking quality photographs
- Ideally plays the banjo or any stringed instrument, and is passionate about bluegrass or old-time music.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3-5 years experience in customer service/packing and shipping or administrative work.
- Four year college degree is preferred.
Shift:
Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm. Start date November 1st 2024
Compensation:
Pay is hourly and and depends on skill. $20-25/hr starting pay based on experience. Employee will have a probationary period of 90 days, after which full time employees will have an evaluation and be giving $250/month for health insurance. Yearly evaluations will determine raises
Benefits:
In addition to health insurance the full time employee will receive 3 sick days and 6 paid holidays. After 90 day employment, employees will receive 1 week paid vacation.
