As Assistant General Manager, you'll provide day-to-day leadership and direction by driving development of people, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing on brand standards and building awareness of the hotel and the brand in the local community. In the absence of the General Manager, you will step in as Acting GM.
Assist General Manager in operations and day-to-day activities
Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues
Provide back-up or relief duties as needed including front desk coverage, housekeeping, and other duties to ensure optimum operation of the hotel
Train team members to make sure they deliver experiences to the standards we expect and have the tools they need to work efficiently
Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals. Collaborate with colleagues and hotel team members to establish and implement services and programs
Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and hotel assets in compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements including brand QA and local, state, and federal guidelines
Act as representative to raise awareness of hotel and brand in local community
Serve as manager on duty in the absence of the GM
