Compensation is $15/hr while training. Once fully trained, $7.25 hourly base rate plus a share of the tip pool with a minimum guaranteed take home pay of $17/hr. Looking at recent wage audits most of our team are taking home well above that!

Our restaurnts have earned five James Beard nominations, a Zagat award, recipes published in Bon Appetit, Saveur, Food & Wine, write-ups in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Local Palate, The Huffington Post, Southern Living, USA Today, and on and on.

Position Summary:

Host: To act as lead point person for the seating and pacing of FOH

Runner: Run food from Expo to tables & support the rest of FOH.

Primary Responsibilities:

Act as the first impression of the restaurant with a friendly, calm and professional demeanor, setting a warm and welcoming tone for the customer's experience

Be as accurate as possible in estimating the wait for a table, seeking guidance from managers as needed

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entryway (including the shelves near the door and outside the entrance

Bus tables as needed in order to seat incoming customers

Support servers by providing water to customers, answering their questions, and pre-bussing their table when necessary

Walk the FOH throughout service with an eye for detail to help present a clean and organized environment

Follow all policies and procedures as described in employee handbook, including dress code, punctuality, and professional attitude

Run food from expo line to tables; ensure hot food hot and orders are complete & accurate

Provide customers with mindblasting hospitality

Communicate needs and issues

Preserve and embrace company culture

Communication:

Provide ongoing feedback to FOH staff and management about customer needs (wait time, silverware, etc.)

Monthly all-staff meeting

Twice a year individual check-in with FOH Management
