Entry level position which requires you to be on your feet most of an 8 hour shift.
Essential Functions:
1. Evaluate dog behavior, reactions, and interactions with other dogs to complete the initial dog screening evaluations, also called "Interviews."
2. Feed dogs and administer medications as directed.
3. Monitor play yards for dogs of all sizes.
4. Maintain continuous focus and attention on dog interactions to prevent fights and injuries.
5. Observe and learn animal behavior and signs of aggression in order to appropriately assign dogs to the proper play yards, which will require listening and distinguishing between dog vocalizations, distress barks, aggression, etc.
6. Perform dog health checks throughout the day.
7. Clean play yards, cabins and all common spaces: mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing.
8. Perform dog washes, nail trims, and other basic dog grooming tasks.
9. Perform janitorial duties: restocking supplies, taking out the trash and basic kennel maintenance.
10. Attend additional training as management deems necessary.

1. Perform all other duties as directed.
Education/Experience:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience with dogs required
