Pace Analytical Services is seeking a full-time courier. Hours are Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 2:30 pm with additional hours as needed.
Summary:
Provides on-call courier pickups and delivery for clients. Provides bottle inventory services as needed. This includes periodic checkup (one per week or more often if necessary).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
Drives company vehicle to deliver or pick-up samples/bottle orders to clients.
Respond to client calls regarding bottle orders, bottle stocking/inventory, bottle drop offs and sample pick-up
Develop rapport with clients
Work with Client Services to fill out bottle orders, follow through on sample pick-ups or bottle drops that may have come through the Project Managers.
Provide information regarding projects, bottles, preservative, DocuNet, etc. to help aid in showing our competence in the environmental field.
Provide account executives and project managers with critical information about clients.
Promotes cooperation and teamwork among staff.
Must follow Pace Analytical Service, Inc. Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.

Travel
Travel will be required for this position up to 75% of the time. Travel amount will vary based on company and business needs.
Driving Requirements
Requires valid drivers license.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience - High School diploma or equivalent. Valid State Drivers License and clean MVR. Excellent geographical knowledge of the laboratory service area. One-year experience as a courier is preferable.

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust to focus.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memo. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Computer Skills Proficient use of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office products especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and the ability to multi task between products.
