We are so excited to be adding to our team! The Sunflower Diner is a small breakfast and lunch spot inside the West Village Market in the heart of West Asheville. Our menu is vegan forward, creative, affordable, 100% non-GMO and almost exclusively organic. Our mission is to create beautiful and delicious comfort food that anyone can enjoy, while encouraging people to consider the impact of their food choices on the environment. We are a community-oriented space, with strict safety protocols in place for both our staff and our customers.

We need a few multifaceted restaurant professionals. Sunflower Diner is looking for a special kind of foodservice worker with both cooking and front of house skills. Our restaurant is tiny, and employees are required to take orders in person, over the phone, and via our online ordering app, while also cooking orders, running food, and doing prep and dishes. Our customer base is predominately local including a whole lot of regulars. Stellar customer service and a friendly outgoing demeanor are essential. Our little kitchen is akin to working on a food truck, with usually 2 (sometimes 3) people working together to create beautiful food and authentic experiences. Prior line cooking experience is required.
