Dolci di Maria is a wholesale bakery that produces high quality gluten free and vegan desserts. We are proud of our delicious desserts that are accessible to those with food sensitivities or living a vegan lifestyle.
We are looking to hire a full time Bakery Production Manager, 40 hours, 4-5 days, Monday through Friday.
Duties include:
Schedule production to meet demand of both large and small orders.
Manage a group of 6-10 full and part-time employees, including scheduling
Ensure quality standards both for baking and packaging
Manage fulfillment and local deliveries of orders
Manage inventory; ordering of ingredients and packaging materials, including pick up of locally sourced items
Manage maintenance and repairs of equipment
Manage cleaning of equipment and space, following established protocols; and prepare for required inspections
Identify and implement process improvements across all areas
Assist business owner in identifying and hiring new candidates
Spend 40-60% of your time hands-on baking and/or packaging
Qualifications:
Have both baking and large-scale food production experience
Staff management experience
Be a leader capable of fostering a positive, team environment
Energetic, fast-paced, flexible work style
Passionate about baking, gluten free, and/ or vegan foods
