Local green building firm seeks a carpenter's helper for a 3-4 person framing and siding crew. Some carpentry experience is required. 2-3 years experience is preferred. The job will include lots of cutting for the crew, but many other tasks including concrete slab forming, insulation, painting, roofing and many more. We typically work 4 10 hour days so you get a long weekend. We offer benefits like health insurance, vacation, and 401k. We are looking for someone who enjoys working hard and seeing the fruits of their labor at the end of the day. Reliable transportation, good work ethic, safety awareness, ability to do heavy lifting and climb ladders are all requirements. We provide all tools except for basic hand tools.
