Here at Costa Farms, we are a commercial horticultural operation growing over 10 million plants per year in a combination of 25 acres of greenhouse and 5 acres of open field.
The Grower's Apprentice program is a new and exciting opportunity within the Costa Family. The program was designed to place qualified, career-minded candidates into an accelerated role. As a Grower's Apprentice you will be on a path to become a fully qualified section grower responsible for 3 to 5 acres of crops, and over unique 100 genera. This path would include 18 months as a Grower's Apprentice followed by 18 months as an Assistant Grower. At that point, if qualified, you will have the opportunity to apply for the section grower position. There are unique challenges in our industry and it is not for everyone. However, those who have embraced the industry find it exceptionally rewarding.
