Job Summary
The Vehicle Detailerâs responsibilities include but are not limited to:
⢠Sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, washing, scrubbing, waxing and detailing vehicles with the appropriate cleaning products on a prescribed routine basis
⢠Perform minor maintenance to company vehicles, buildings and other equipment
⢠Perform general maintenance duties that may include, gathering and emptying trash; cleaning and supplying garage restroom; cleaning floors; general organizing and tidying; cleaning windows and mirrors; dusting furniture, walls, fixtures and office machines; sweep outdoor walkway
Position Requirements-
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
⢠Must be available to work before 9am OR after 5pm. Shall be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
⢠Ability to work in cramped spaces and under a vehicle while lying on your back, lift, lower and carry items that typically weigh 25 â 50 pounds without assistance and 75 pounds with assistance, Ability to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
⢠Perform minor maintenance and up keep on vehicles and other company property and when necessary assist company mechanic.
⢠Ability to handle stressful situations and difficult people both in person and via the telephone while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.
⢠Shall be able to read, write and speak fluent English to communicate with fellow employees and the general public varying distances.
Qualifications
⢠Valid Driverâs License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years.
Successful candidate will pass a background search.
