The nursery is a place where the youngest members of God's family will be safe, loved, respected and valued as a member of our Christian community. Our nursery caregivers provide a nurturing, teaching environment for babies and children during church related functions. They are responsible for providing age-appropriate care which includes feeding, changing diapers, escorting to the bathroom, maintaining a safe space, putting children down for naps, holding, or sitting with and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, play and prayer. A happy cooperative environment with the children, parents, other caregivers, volunteers and staff will be maintained.
The successful applicant will have at least two years of experience with children, be at least 18 years old, and willing to take "Safe Guarding God's Children" training for which you will be paid. CPR and first aide training is preferred and will be provided if needed. Hours are from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Sundays, and occasional evenings or Saturday mornings for special events.
