NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, BUT DESIRABLE
We are looking to add an experienced Purchaser/ Shipping & Receiving individual to our line-up of amazing staff. This is a part-time (Mon-Fri), year-round position working flexible hours each day of the week (morning or afternoon available). Must be a garment savvy, detail oriented, energetic, hard-working individual to join our crew. The position requires self-discipline, focus, and the ability to multi-task throughout the day.
Job specifics include the following:
Purchasing:
-Purchase garments for customer orders
-Ensure precise order accuracy via multiple suppliers
-Oversee order tracking to ensure items are received in a timely manner
-Maintain & nurture relationships with supplier sales reps
Shipping/Receiving:
-Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
-QC each shipment for garment defects
-Move and stage boxes in each department for production crew
-Process returns for any missing or defective items
-Manage all outgoing customer shipments
Skills & Abilities:
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
-Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to multitask
-Must be organized and detail oriented
-Employee will be frequently required to handle, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch
