Job Description:
-In this position, the successful candidate will need to have working knowledge in the maintenance/repair of injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment.
-Will be responsible for the safety of himself/herself and all team members.
-Capable with proven track record of moderate to difficult mechanical and electrical/electronic problem solving skills and abilities in a high speed manufacturing environment.
-Knowledge and experience in maintaining plant support equipment and production secondary equipment.
Responsibilities:
-Follow standard operating procedures.
-Maintain knowledge of plant support equipment and operating procedures.
-Understand, follow and assist in evaluating applicable JSA's.
-Perform repair/maintenance work as required on all equipment.
-Perform preventive maintenance assignments as required.
-Assist in maintaining stockroom inventory control.
-Assist in maintaining accurate PM records and machine repair records in CWORX.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
-Minimum five years injection molding experience.
-Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
-Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems.
-Ability to install, remove, modify production equipment as needed.
-Experience with machine shop tools, portable power hand tool, hand tools and welding.
-Ability to install, repair, modify and program PLC's.
-Working knowledge of Windows based PC programs.
Additional Qualifications and Requirements:
-Completion of Electrical Safe Work Practices testing.
-Achieve passing scores on required Electrical Testing.
-Must supply own hand tools, company will supply specialty tools as needed.
-Capable of working responsibly with minimum supervision.
-High School Diploma and a clear criminal background is required.
Additional Information
-This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
-This is an $30.00/hour position. Pay rate is based on experience. Work hours as assigned.
