Broad River Builders is seeking a motivated mid-level carpenter to join our team and contribute to a variety of residential building and remodeling projects in and around Asheville,NC.
Responsibilities:
-Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trim, cabinetry, and repairs
-Safely and efficiently operate hand tools and basic power tools
-Follow project plans and supervisor instructions to complete tasks on schedule
-Maintain clean and organized job sites
-Work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and team members
-Troubleshoot and resolve on-site carpentry challenges as needed
Required Qualifications:
-2–5 years carpentry experience (residential or commercial)
-Proficiency with standard hand tools and fundamental carpentry -techniques
-Ability to measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials accurately
-Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
-Strong work ethic and attention to detail
-Commitment to safety practices and procedures
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
-Familiarity with reading blueprints or project plans
-Finish carpentry or woodworking experience
