job descriptionIntegration Architectjob summary:We have a 6 month contract to perm position for an Integration Architect with a client of ours in Cary, NC.The Sr. Technical Lead Integration participates in the technical design, development and implementation of application systems, and may have customer interaction. You will be serve as mentor for more junior team members helping them learn and grow.Key Responsibilities:
Primary point of contact for all technical deliverables.
Ensure all tasks and milestones associated with technical design, development and unit testing are completed according to project management guidelines
Ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority and business objectives
Review functional specifications, create detailed technical design and technical specifications, and oversee code development and unit and performance testing activities
Coordinates all operational/infrastructure readiness requirements (e.g., operations engineering, performance, risk management)
Interface with system designers to design, code, test, and implement application programs
Conduct analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems
Perform defect analysis and Prioritizing defects during releases
Prepares change tickets and documentation for deployment procedures
Prepare operating procedures documentation and participate in knowledge transfer to Operations
Determining the integration approach for all new projects
Attending project joint application design (JAD) sessions to support estimating solutions for projects
Reviewing and providing feedback on requirements
Engaging enterprise architecture about design decisions
Prioritizing defects during releases
Signing off on test plans, functional testing and performance testing
Selecting the appropriate integration technology for projects
Defining integration architecture standards and guidelines
This position is accountable for:
Reviewing and approving business requirements
Defining the architecture for each integration
Approving design standards
Overseeing use cases for integration services
Overseeing and approving technical design documents
Overseeing and approving the group canonical
Overseeing and approving service schema definitions
Conducting code reviews

5+ years of experience API Connect, DataPower
5+ years of API development - API modelling, development, Open API Spec
5+ years of Micro services development and design
5+ years of experience in WebSphere Application Server (WAS)/ Weblogic /other application servers
5+ years of experience in SOA, Messaging, Web Services, and Data Integration techniques
