Job Description CACI has an exciting job opportunity for a IT?Network Systems Engineer to manage important customer networks.
What You?ll Get to Do:
Performs networking tasks with routers, switches, loads IOS builds router configurations, virtual server and physical server experience, putty experience
Ability to analyze network performance, identify issues, and recommend solutions
Work individually or as a vital team member to? investigate and resolve configuration and operational problems
Identifies system requirements for operations and security, and works with other engineers and staff to develop designs and integrate components
Performs system analysis and design, development and product verification testing on power, control systems, software, hardware, and equipment
Develops the operations, management, integration & security requirements
Develops and documents system architecture, including relevant user cases
Develops security procedures for design reviews, and for operational monitoring, recording, and responding to security events
Develops and administer databases used to store and retrieve
Develops verification plans based on requirements and architecture documents
Develop sustainable requirements, integration, testing, and configuration processes across multiple rapid development teams
Defines operations, security and integration tool requirements to allow users to evaluate and analyze their network resources for performance and scalability in test-bed and modeled environments
?Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts
May review the work of others and be able to detect errors or needed modifications
Apply STIG and security best practices to all devices
Oversee and maximize virtual machine operations while also being able to utilize Linux command line prompts and Linux system administration
Oversee multiple database, SAN, and NAS administration
Provide help-desk support to all members of the Troop in troubleshooting existing technologies and incorporating new technologies into the Troop
Create and troubleshoot Windows User Accounts, Group/Group Permissions and File Permissions
? You?ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Networking, Information Systems, or Computer Science and five to seven years of related work experience.
Strong verbal and written skills
At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, NetApp Storage Solutions, VMWare, and Linux CentOS 6/7 software.
Experience configuring, managing, and monitoring network appliances
Experience with Zabbix for monitoring devices on the network
Security+, CCNA Security, other security certifications
