The Job:

The Business Development Leader, or BDL, is responsible for driving growth within their given business area. They are the primary point of contact for clients and prospective client’s, and they use their knowledge of company products, services, and capabilities to help generate solutions that meet the business needs of customers. This role partners directly with the Operations Team to ensure that client projects and programs run smoothly.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Leader include:

Building and maintaining relationships with current, former, and potential clients

Acquiring a strong understanding of the market, including trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities

Developing and executing growth goals

Leveraging knowledge of company capabilities, partnerships, and innovations to create a consultative, solutions-based approach to engaging clients and leads

Developing and executing client action plans that focus on account prioritization and account-specific strategies

Attending in-state and national conferences, meetings, and industry events

Preparing responses to RFPs

Requirements:

3-5 years of professional experience in a B2B or B2G consulting environment

BA/BS in Business/Marketing or equivalent industry experience

Valid Driver License in good standing

STEM related background a plus

Experience in the A/E/C industry a plus
