Data Governance Consultant
Contract length: 12-24 months
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: DOE
NO C2C, must be able to to work W2.
Leads complex enterprise-wide programs and collaborates on strategic initiatives for data governance, data quality and metadata activities.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data
7+ management, data governance, data quality or data analysis
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (candidate will need to be able to demonstrate really tight written communication skills as well as strong listening skills) Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy (Excel, SQL, etc.) Knowledge of financial institution data governance requirements, especially those at large US banks Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver database architecture / design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, performing needs assessments, database definition & structure, documentation, long-range requirements, and operational guidelines.
Provides consultation in process evaluations, performance monitoring, and statistics to senior management.
Leads analysis on complex multi domain remediation efforts and serves as single point of contact on low to medium priority issues.
Partners with groups and various levels of seniority across the firm to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution.
