The team is a culturally and geographically diverse organization with team members and contractors throughout the US and India. This team supports applications and projects across:
Global Sanctions and Patriot Act Compliance
AML, Trading, Product & Employee Surveillance Technology
Cash Transaction Reporting (CTR) Systems
Financial Crimes Platform Solutions
This Financial Crimes Technology Leader role is responsible for senior leadership of teams performing the appropriate Development and ongoing Maintenance of several dozen applications by establishing a culture of high performance in all aspects, including project planning and execution and production support. The Leader also serves as primary technology partner for the LOBs these applications support, helping to set strategic direction through strong partnering. Additionally, this Leader is responsible for managing vendor relationships in support of the same areas.The applications within this role’s leadership include several applications that have a direct impact on a broad population of internal users, and have direct impact on customers, through the accurate and efficient processing of customers' financial transactions and protection of customers from fraud.Important aspects of the role include:
Meeting and exceeding defined high levels of service to meet the needs of Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM)
Understanding the various Wells Fargo platforms
Developing strategic partnerships
Participating in key technology activities (such as the application sunrise process, Business Continuity Plan (BCP), and technical roadmaps)
Creating a global workforce model
Minimizing risk to the firm
Creating a culture of providing exemplary customer service

Required Qualifications:
12+ years of application development and implementation experience
5+ years of management experience in technology
Desired Qualifications:
Financial crimes experience
Financial services industry experience
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to manage process improvement initiatives to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiencies
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong relationship management skills
Senior level leadership experience managing a complex organization including senior managers, managers, individual contributors and vendor resources across multiple global locations
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Management experience including large/multiple application development efforts within a small-to-medium size line of business
