job descriptionInfrastructure Delivery Project Managerjob summary:Infrastructure Project Manager in Charlotte, NC or Frisco, TXlocation: Charlotte, North Carolinajob type: Contractsalary: $45 - 50 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: No Degree Requiredresponsibilities:Responsible for managing and tracking the remediation of hardware/software.Responsible for addressing software and hardware vulnerabilities.Bulk of the work involves migrating servers to W2016 from W2K8 OS.Need to work with application teams to decomm hardware once it has been migrated/remediated.qualifications:Balance the criticality of Tier 1 items along with the longer remediation timelines of Tier 2 in order to ensure these efforts are completed by the end of the year.Responsible to manage some of the initiative project work that is coming through the CIO teams. There is work needed to support various pieces of vendor connectivity, new functionality, right-sizing, and high ROI impacts.skills: - Prior experience as a system administrator via midrange based servers/OS or databases
Prior experience as a network engineering delivering and implementing circuits, routers, firewalletc
Prior experience remediating legacy server based and OS based infrastructure; upgrading technology
Prior experience running complex technology projects
