side with summer interns to ensure development and learning. Candidates can
expect to gain an understanding of TIAA and the Financial Services industry, as
well as have opportunities to explore various technology tools, techniques, and
disciplines. Successful summer interns will have the opportunity to apply for a
full time position in the highly competitive entry-level Technical Associate
Program.Led by RahulMerchant , Client Services & Technology (CS&T) connects with clients
through our contact centers and other client-facing teams. These groups provide
educational support, share important information and promote positive
engagement. CS&T also partners with TIAA businesses to build and operate
economical, efficient, secure, durable, scalable and innovative technology
solutions. Responding rapidly to diverse needs, the organization fosters a
personalized, client-centered experience.PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: As part of the CS&T Summer Intern Program,
participants will have the opportunity to experience: Ten weeks doing meaningful and strategic work as part of the CS&T
Organization Unique networking opportunities with both senior leaders from CS&T
and from across TIAA Ongoing personal and professional development opportunities Opportunities to interact with interns from across TIAA as well as
current members of the full-time entry level CS&T Technical Associate
ProgramKEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:OPPORTUNITIES: You will
have the opportunity to work within exciting new technology areas including:
Mobile development (Android & iOS), Python, Java & .NET development,
Cloud computing, Big Data, Tableau, Oracle, Hadoop, AngularJS, Python, Automation,
Robotics and many more!The CS&T Technical Summer Internship Program offers you the opportunity to
join one of three distinct TRACKS in order to build a skillset that will
transform your technical abilities into a fungible skillset vital to a
successful career in financial services technology.1. Analyst (Info Security, Data, Systems, Quality, Business, BusinessManagement) Interns
in this area leverage and further develop their skills in analysis and
reporting, working alongside colleagues and Senior Leadership to further TIAA's
understanding of structure, policies and to achieve its goals. You will
directly contribute to solutions which support sound decision-making. The
recommendations you provide will drive achievement of TIAA's technology goals.
Specific responsibilities may include monitoring & implementation of
dedicated measures in Info Security, requirements gathering &
documentation, financial oversight & control, portfolio management,
business performance measurement, process management, and data analysis from
various sources.2. Engineering (Cloud, Info Security, Operations, Data) Interns in this area provide operations support for capture &
distribution, processing, quality processes and problem resolution. Your focus
would be on ensuring data integrity in systems and adherence to internal and
external standards and quality checks. Your skills would further develop as you
focus your talents in providing critical support in hardware, software, data or
infrastructure components within a specific domain.3. Application Development (Mobile, Web, Data) Interns in this area design, build and test various software
technologies and applications programs which align with TIAA needs. You would work
as part of a project team, communicating progress, technical issue reporting,
resolution and deployment to production of completed code.Please Note: TIAA does not sponsor visas forentry-level/internship positions and, due to program format, will not hireindividuals whose work eligibility is based on a F-1 or other student visastatus, including, but not limited to, students who receive a STEM OPTextension.QUALIFICATIONS:Required Skills:
Currently in pursuit of a Bachelor’sor Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics,Data Analytics, Data Science, Cyber Security, Operations Management and/orEngineering
Graduating between December 2020 and June2022
Extracurricular program participationin major-related areas
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or better
