The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.The Fiduciary & Investment Risk Oversight Group (FIRO), within Corporate Risk, is responsible for independently overseeing fiduciary & investment risk across the enterprise. Our environment continues to be one of heightened standards, raised risk consciousness, and regulatory requirements. This role provides credible challenge to the lines of business, consistent with the Wells Fargo Vision & Values and risk appetite.The Investment Oversight Analyst will work closely with the Director of Investment Risk Analysis and the broader Investment Risk unit of FIRO to support and contribute to a strong, independent risk management function for investment risk oversight within Wells Fargo. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills consistent with roles and responsibilities of independent risk management in the Wells Fargo & Co. Risk Management Framework.Reporting to the Director of Investment Risk Analysis of FIRO, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Together with the Director of Investment Risk Analysis, the incumbent will assist in designing and implementing an effective investment risk analysis program tailored specifically to the requirements of the WFC independent risk management framework. He/she will promote best practices while identifying and mitigating potential gaps through a qualitative and quantitative approach He/she will support Wells Fargo senior management's assessment of fiduciary and investment risk and risk management effectiveness. Become a subject matter expert on the Fiduciary and Investment Risk and Control Assessment (F&I RCA) process and work collaboratively with F&I RCA analysts to ensure consistent and robust F&I risk assessment of all affected businesses Leveraging regulatory requirements/guidelines and industry best practice to assist in developing and managing enterprise level policies relating to fiduciary and investment activities and ensure LOB’s alignment to these policies Understand, oversee, and provide credible challenge related to investment risk in various activities including product development and implementation, asset allocation, manager research, portfolio management, as well as front line monitoring functions. This may include regular oversight meetings with front line teams and collaborative participation in investment related committee meetings Oversight activities will include advisory, brokerage, wealth, retirement, asset management, and corporate trust businesses. Oversight coverage will include all asset classes, such as equity, fixed income, and alternatives. Both public funds and private funds are in scope for oversight coverage. Strong knowledge in private alternative investments will be preferred Develop metrics to help monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management at the front line level Recommend actions to mitigate and manage risk and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements Provide timely and accurate investment risk insights to Senior Manager and Director of Investment Process Oversight Assist with administering FIRO risk management meetings Prepare reporting packages (routine, special, or ad hoc), maintaining content for submission to ongoing reports, and research potential risks for review by FIRORequired Qualifications:

1+ year of capital markets experience, desk analyst experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications:

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or other business related field

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or demonstrated progress toward the designation
