Code, test and implement high quality Java programs for a highly complex enterprise application system, running a suite of complex applications and rich GUI, working as part of global Agile team.
Modify existing software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
Co-ordinate across multiple stakeholders including tech, Ops, business, BA partners, QA globally
Ensure that design and implementation works against high-volume data sources, is scalable and fault-tolerant.
Required Skills:
8+ Experience in Web technologies, Core Java / J2EE
Good experience in Spring boot, Microservices, Hibernate or similar ORM framework
Experience in HTML/JavaScript preferably with exposure to some JavaScript framework such as Angular, React
Strong Database skills preferably with Oracle; Past experience in PL SQL, processing large amount of data
Knowledge of JMS and related middleware products such as IBM MQ Series.
Unix scripting, Maven will be desired.
Knowledge of job scheduling tools like Autosys will be plus.
Knowledge of Kafka would be added plus
Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
Good communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate asks and provide status
Ability to pick up and assimilate system knowledge and provide input on automation or process improvement
Ability to triage and support production issues as required
