Job Summary:

Signature consultants is seeking a Jr. Python/C Developer for an opportunity with a client in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Requirements:


Application Programmer/Developer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of front-end and back-end engineering activities. They will work with line of business, vendors and technical teams on requirement gathering, user acceptance testing and post software release certification. The applicant will translate designs and style guides into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance. They will work collaboratively with various backend systems retrieving and supplying data for several functionalities. Lastly the applicant will work to develop original and creative technical solutions meeting scalability, security, quality, and performance standards.

The candidate must possess passion for producing high quality software, ready to jump in and solve complex problems, and serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Experience with Agile software development methodology. The level of experience needed for the applicant would be 1-3 years hands-on development experience delivering code.

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets Required:


Python, C, C#, JAVA, SQL

• Scripting/Format (one or mix): JSON, XML, Unix / Linux shell, PowerShell, DOS batch


• Database: SQL Server


• Software Development Methodology: Agile


• O/S: Windows, Linux


• Tools: Visual Studio, basic http/ftp/sftp/ftps protocols, curl, excel, TOAD, sqlplus, sqlcmd


• Other: SMTP, Microsoft Exchange
