Signature Consultants is seeking a Junior Agile Coach for an opportunity with a banking client in Charlotte, NC (remote until post Covid-19).
Length of Assignment: 12-24+ months Start date: ASAP
Rate: $78.36 W2 per hour (Approx. 160K/year) negotiable based on skills & experience, (comes with weekly pay and some benefits)
All candidates must work as a w2 employee of Signature, having either a , ship, L2, , or TN Visa
Core Skill Requirements:
Strong knowledge of and background in Agile frameworks and methodologies like Kanban/Scrum/Safe
Possessing prior experience coaching teams in Agile adoption and/or as a Scrum Master
Proficient in one or more of the Agile tools such as JIRA, Rally or equivalent
Experience coaching at small to medium organizations a must, large organizations is a plus
Expected to work with other Coaches (SecDevOps & Automation) to drive overall coaching program
Having programming experience earlier is a plus, not mandatory
Proficiency in many of the following list of core skills: Confluence, JIRA, HP ALM, SonarQube, Junit, Selenium, Java, Javascript, Java Scripting
Java Best Practices, Maven, Jenkins, HP UFT, SQL, Cucumber, Gherkin, TDD
Experience and Qualifications:
Assertive about adherence to Agile processes and enthusiastic about Agile practices and their benefits
Possess great communication and interpersonal skills, teaching abilities, and a capacity to inspire and motivate
Constantly update information, attending conferences, and continuously learning.
Certifications: Certified in one or more of the following: Scrum Coach /Scrum Master /Safe/Product owner etc.
Junior (12-15 Yrs Exp with at least 4 years in Agile Coaching and Execution/Implementation experience)
Should be able to coach and support the business teams in establishing the project vision and preparing the backlog.
Should have hands-on experience in delivering projects using agile practices such as Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe etc.
Should be able to mentor the project teams for implementing agile practices.
Continuously measure and report the progress of teams and organizational units in meeting their goals.
Should have knowledge on software engineering practices such as Test driven development (TDD), Refactoring etc.
Should be able to conduct workshops on agile related topics.
Should have experience in improving the application development processes.
Should have conceptual knowledge on various technologies such as SOA, Java Framework etc.
Knowledge on SecDevOps concepts and automation tools.
Should have solid understanding of Lean concepts.
Should have experience in Project Management.
Experience in agile related tools like JIRA is preferred.
