Signature Consultants is seeking a Mid-level PM for an oportunity with a client in Charlotte, NC. This team is the "think tank" looking at overall strategy, architecture, and future state of the new CFO Data Management teams. They are looking for a Mid-Level (4-7 years of experience) Project Analyst/Business Analyst who has a consultative background. Strong problem solving skills, hard worker, takes initiative and can interface with the business and technology teams. Would prefer either a finance/accounting background or IT. Good personal, PMO type environment, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio skills. They are willing to train for the right person. Will consider someone in support role that can be developed into more of a senior contributor if they have the right attitude, work ethic, and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Work with Data Steward Executives and LOB Architects to define Corporate Treasury's interim and strategic sources of data within the bank for a given product or reference data
Create implementation plan for interim and strategic sources
Work with upstream sources to remediate data gaps
Work with technology teams and CT business partners to implement the interim and strategic plans
Strong knowledge of at least one banking (e.g. Deposits, Cash, and Loans) or traded (e.g. Repos, Debt, Unencumbered, Derivatives) product - NICE TO HAVE
Solid experience with data analysis
Solid experience in project management
Excellent Excel skills (Must be able to do pivots and lookups)
Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to multitask and work with team members in multiple global locations
Willing to work long hours
5+ years of proven experience analyzing and reconciling data
Nice to Have:
Previous Middle Office or Finance background is a major plus
Prior IT consulting firm (e.g. Accenture, IBM, E&Y) experience is a major plus
Previous BAC experience or strong BAC network
Previous experience with BAC's Enterprise Data Management group is a major plus
Previous experience with BASEL, Traded Products, and Liquidity Regulatory Reporting (Fed 4G, FSA, BASEL 2 and 3) is a major plus.
