Responsibilities:

  • Drive project meetings, capture and record meeting notes, and ensure action items are completed promptly.
  • Prepare audit-level PMO deliverables.
  • Create/manage project timelines and ensure project team is meeting commitments.
  • Work closely with Sr. Program/Project Manager to track progress of project deliverables against overall project timelines.
  • Foster an environment that adapts quickly to creative change.
  • Maintain goals set forth by Perficient management and the client.
  • Manage overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates can be clearly communicated at all times.
  • Ensure solutions to technical problems through discussion with technical teams to resolve problems.
  • Partner with development team members to understand opportunities and limitations of solutions being implemented.
  • Effectively balance the needs of the client, as well as the needs of the agency and internal teams.
  • Manage deliverables with external vendors, where applicable.
  • Identify, procure and manage outside vendors that are best suited for assigned projects, when required.
  • Manage resources for each assigned project to ensure that the project remains on schedule.
  • Work closely with the product and account leads to remain in full communication on the status and details of each project, including any cost or timing issues that may arise.
  • Anticipate any potential issues with the project through quick responses and proactive critical thinking.
  • Demonstrate skilled problem-solving capabilities to determine solutions and options to resolve problems.

Qualifications:
  • Local to Charlotte, NC
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading projects within Financial Services is a MUST.
  • Previous management consulting experience is a MUST.
  • Risk/Regulatory experience is a PLUS.
  • A majority of the roles available will be given to candidates local to client's downtown Charlotte office. Position will be remote to start, but expectation is that candidate will be in-person 5 days per week once office re-opens. Very strong NY based candidates will also be considered.
  • Experience with large enterprise projects / large-scale transformation programs is a MUST.
  • Strong verbal communication skills is a MUST.
  • Ability to create executive-level communications. Grammar skills must be exceptional.
  • Must be incredibly detail-oriented.
  • Great PowerPoint and presentation skills is a MUST.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • PMP certification preferred.
