job descriptionProject Manager IIThis position is fast paced, part time, and short term.Seeking a part time project manager in the Charlotte area for a large utilities company.Responsibilities:Manage business project schedule, communications, centralized information like sharepoint, facilitate meetings, track and report on deliverables. Manage project?s business requirements, lead prioritization and ranking of recommendations from SME?s, works with project leads to optimize scope and assess risks and opportunities. Works with SC leadership to review project dependencies, obstacles and resource performance. Maintain effective communication plan and tools (weekly, monthly etc.)Interface with members of project team and members of supply chain business unit partners such as distribution, transmission, fossil hydro, nuclear, grid improvement etc.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:
Ability to map and facilitate process design discussions (value stream analyses, RACI documentation, Process Improvement Events)
Very proficient with Microsoft products: powerpoint, excel, word
Ability to read and understand policies and procedures: Inventory controls policy, accounting policy etc.
Prior exposure to change management facilitation and implementation
Ability to work independently and be very detailed oriented.
Education:MastersExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:
At least 9 years of applicable business project experience: design, facilitation, implementation, documentation and governance
College 4 year, Masters in Business, Accounting, Operations, Analytics, Process/Project/Chg. Management preferred
