Need a Senior Application Migration Engineer, to help move applications and systems from one data center to another.
Designing, implementing, and managing new installations and migrating existing physical systems to virtual systems. Ability to communicate on a technical and business level with application teams, network operations, network security, and third party vendors to coordinate solutions to clarify inter-dependencies among systems to provide a seamless migration to end users.
Assist in designing infrastructure components for large, complex applications. Provide technical and security specifications for technology infrastructure and contribute to technical specifications. Responsible for all applications, server, mainframe and network infrastructure including cooling systems, chiller plants, power plants, UPS systems, raised floor, cabinet and rack space capacity. Apply and extended standardized methodology and tools to designing technology solutions. Create technical specifications and standards documentation for current infrastructure.
Forecast and design plans for future growth as it relates to infrastructure evolution in addition to implementing technology infrastructure. Create application, network design documents and data flows
