  • We are searching for a strong Senior Support Systems Analyst/Systems Administrator to work in our Charlotte office.
  • This important role will work as a critical member of the IT (Information Technology) Department and carries broad responsibilities from supporting critical ADA Accessible Documentation Service operations, Customer Management Systems for Vision Rehabilitation Services, and managing voice and data networks.

LOCATION:
  • Charlotte, NC - Must go onsite.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform daily backups, disaster recovery operation, quarterly DR testing, quarterly audits of all security systems to ensure compliance with existing security policies
  • Implement and provide technical support for voice services, including voice mail and PBX equipment and support for any point-to-point T1's we maintain with business clients
  • Manage CD robots and process servers to ensure Audio CD production quality and turn-around times are met and/or exceeded
  • Configure and monitor virus and malware protection suite to ensure the safety and stability of Agency desktops, laptops, and servers
  • Manage Helpdesk System software
  • Configure and maintain hardware/software and maintain Braille embossers and high-speed printers.
  • Support network connectivity issues
  • Support all Microsoft applications (ex. Outlook, Word, Excel, XP, etc.) and support all computers and peripherals, involving vendor support if needed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred along with 5-8 years of previous Systems Analyst or System Administrator work
  • Active Directory and Server 2012: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Network environments - firewalls, routers, switches: 2 years (Preferred)
  • AlienVault SEIM and Qualys VMDR: 2 years
  • Working with local PC/Server file & folder structure as well shares, and security rights: 8 years (Must Have)
  • Knowledge to support network servers, computers, peripherals, etc.: 8 years (Must Have)
  • Command Line, Scripting, PowerShell for file processing
  • Understanding of VB Script and DOS Batch Programming with an eye towards becoming proficient in automating routine tasks: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: 5 years (Must Have)
  • Working knowledge of Windows 8.1 and Windows 10: 5 years (Must Have)
