Service Center Manager - Eurofins Environment Testing Southeast - Charlotte, NC

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a dynamic manager with supervisory experience who enjoys networking within the environmental industry. The Service Center Manager will act as a liaison between the laboratory and the local client base. This role will maintain the service center facility, manage staff and work with the Sales Department to develop and grow the area client base.Environmental industry/environmental laboratory experience is strongly preferred.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Primary point of client contact for the service center, address any client issues or questionsMaintain the facility and uphold company EH&S policiesManage personnel and schedule Courier/Field Sampler pick-ups and deliveries, as neededBusiness development – manage projects and assist Account Executives with meeting sales initiativesOrder supplies, track revenue, monitor costs and reduce inefficiencies at the service centerMaintain knowledge of method requirements, holding times and project requirements.Networking – attend industry events, conferences and trade shows. Monitor local market trends, capitalize on opportunities to bring in new business, visit clients. Be aware of local competition and pricing.Other duties as assigned.
