The team is developing a new application within Wells Fargo and will require significant development in partnership with multiple technology teams, and line of business analytics groups.Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.Software Engineer acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices.
Provides the strategy and design for projects associate with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments.
Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures.
Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets.
As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems. Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff.
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.

5+ years of Java experience
5+ years of J2EE experience or 5+ years of .net experience
4+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
3 + years of Java Web Services experience
3+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
3 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
Desired QualificationsAn industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
3+ years of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
3+ years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience
Knowledge and understanding of business rules management systems such as: Ilog, Jrules, Blaze, or Drools
